Selling

Who buys this data?

AI research labs and companies training models for specific industries and tasks. We vet every buyer before introducing them to you, and you approve each one individually.

What kinds of data can I sell?

Records your business created while doing its work: email and chat threads, CRM and sales history, support tickets, code repositories, call recordings, documents, project and wiki pages, orders, field operations records, CAD and design files, and databases. If yours isn't on that list, tell us in the estimate's "Something else?" box.

How accurate is the estimate?

It's a starting range based on your team size, years of records, industry and the systems you use, and it's wide on purpose. The inventory call firms it up. Final prices depend on volume, quality, whether the data is yours to license, and how many buyers want it. Getting an estimate gives no one any rights to your data.

Do I have to upload anything to get started?

No. The estimate and the inventory call need no access to your systems. Data is only prepared once you've accepted a specific deal.

What does it cost?

Nothing up front, and listing is free. We take a share of each deal you approve, agreed in writing before any data moves.

How long until a deal?

It depends on what you have and what buyers are asking for right now. After the inventory call we'll tell you honestly which of your data is in demand and roughly how long matching usually takes for it.

Am I locked in?

No. You can stop at any point before you sign a specific license. There's no exclusivity and no obligation to sell, and each deal is approved by you separately.

Why do you ask me to sign an NDA?

It's mutual. It protects what you tell us about your systems and data, and it protects what we share with you about buyers and their requests, so both sides can talk openly before any deal.

What's the difference between a listing and the estimate?

The estimate is private and only for you. A listing is an optional, anonymous summary on the public marketplace that buyers can browse: what the data is, volumes, date ranges and formats. It never shows your company name or raw records.

What does "Verified" mean on a listing?

We've spoken with the company, they've signed our NDA and confirmed they own the data, and we've checked a sample against the description. "Self-described" listings are written by the seller and reviewed by us for clarity only.

I lost the private link to my listing. What now?

Email us from the address on the listing and we'll send a new link. The old one stops working.

Privacy and ownership

What about my customers' and employees' privacy?

Personal information is removed or replaced before anything is delivered, and you can exclude whole categories, systems, teams, clients or date ranges. You review a sample of the prepared data before delivery. We'll also help you check your existing agreements and privacy notices before any deal.

Some of our data belongs to clients or is under NDA. Is that a problem?

Tell us on the inventory call. We'll work through what you have the right to license, and anything you'd rather keep out, including a whole client, is excluded in the contract.

Who owns the data after a sale?

You do. Buyers get a license for the agreed use and term, not ownership. The license prohibits resale and re-identification and requires deletion at the end of the term.

Who can see what?

Your estimate, inventory answers and NDA are private to you and our team. Public listings show only the anonymous summary you write. A buyer learns who you are only after you've approved an introduction.

Buying

How do I buy data?

Browse the marketplace or tell us what you need on the buyers page. We sign a mutual NDA, confirm your use case, and introduce you to sellers who have matching data. Each deal is a written license with an agreed scope, use, term and price.

Can you find data that isn't listed?

Often, yes. Most of the data sellers hold isn't listed publicly. Describe what you need and we'll source it from companies that have it.

Can I see a sample first?

Usually. Samples are prepared and de-identified like the full dataset and shared under the NDA once the seller approves.

How is the data delivered?

Prepared and de-identified to the agreed scope, through access-controlled delivery, never as a public link.

Referring

How much do I earn for a referral?

10% of what the referred company is paid for its deals, up to $100,000 per company, paid after we've received payment from the buyer. The full terms are on the referral page.

Who can refer?

Anyone with a genuine connection to a company: advisors, investors, accountants, agencies, former employees. If you'll refer several companies, join the partner program.
